Boot Camp: Getting Started with Personalized Learning

Are you an educator new to a district that implements learner-centered practices? 
Are you looking to start or reignite learner-centered practice in your classroom? 
Do you know a little bit about learner-centered practice, but want to take it to a deeper level?

Boot Camp is a virtual workshop intended for those new to the concepts of personalized learning and/or for those who need a bit of a refresher. This workshop is open to anyone but is FREE for all Institute members!

During this professional learning session, participants will discuss the characteristics of POWERful learners:

Purpose
Ownership
Wonder
Efficacy
Responsibility

In addition, participants will gain an understanding around:

• Why – Making the case for shifting towards a learner-centered educational system
• What – Defining personalizing learning through a learner-centered framework and change strategy
• How – Tips and strategies to begin implementing personalized learning in the classroom
